Printing firms, newspapers, magazines, and ad agencies have taken advantage of Gary’s writing, editing, and proofreading skills. He’s served as editor for Jury Manual: A Guide for the Prospective Juror and the award-winning CMYK Color: Visual & Digital References for Professionals for Metro Publishing.

He’s written articles for the Pasadena Citizen, Houston City Magazine, and other publications. He served as the speechwriter for the Houston public-school system, writing speeches for Superintendents Frank Petruzielo and Rod Paige (Paige later served as U.S. Secretary of Education). He wrote speeches and articles for school board members and other district officials.
